Richland County Transportation is asking county residents to help them determine the direction of their service by filling out a quick survey. The service is twelve years old and has grown and changed a lot. The question is whether the existing plan still works or whether there are additional services that residents would utilize. Harry was born October 15, 1927 in Bayard, NE to Filep and Amelia Kaufman Schmitt. He moved to Sidney when he was five years old to the family beet farm north of Sidney. Harry worked countless hours on the farm and helping friends in their beet fields during harvest.
