On April 30, 2015, an emergency preparedness drill was conducted at the Gavilon Grain facility in Fairview, MT, in conjunction with the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department. A scenario was developed where a Gavilon employee entered a large grain bin in order to sweep and clean the structure. It was simulated that the employee either had a medical emergency or was overcome by some type of atmospheric condition. The Flags of Honor Committee, along with volunteers from the Sidney Lions Club and other volunteers, will post 130 flags around Veterans Park beginning at 6:00 a.m. Flags posted will begin with “Ted Goss” and end at “John Miller”. At the AAU wrestling banquet on May 7, Arnie & Lola Hansen were presented the AAU Lifetime Member Award. Son, Ray Hansen started wrestling at age 5 in 1986. Arnie usually hauled Ray and a car full of kids every weekend to AAU meets. His favorite thing to do was harass the referees.
