The 2013 Session of Annie’s Project, a program developed to empower farm and ranch women to be better business partners, will kick off the third Tuesday (January 22) in January 2013 in Watford City Classes will be held on six Tuesday evenings at the Courthouse Meeting Room starting at 5 pm and concluding by 8 pm. The 7th Annual New Year’s Eve Extravaganza will be December 31st from 8pm-12:30am at the Raymond Family Community Center. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s North Dakota State Emergency Board reviewed and approved damage assessment reports for 16 North Dakota counties recently. The reports will now be sent on to Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to support a potential disaster designation for those counties. The North Dakota Wheat Commission recently released the 2012 Regional Quality Reports for both U.S. hard spring wheat and northern durum wheat.
