    The Sidney wrestlers took 1st place with 211 points edging out 2nd place Williston with 202 points and Forsyth with 192.5 points at the Eagle Invitational wrestling tournament in Sidney Saturday.     Watford City’s Christmas theme this year is “Watford City Celebrates A Patriotic Christmas – Honoring Our Heroes”. Red, white and blue lights adorn Main Street trees. Free movies are being offered at Six Shooters Movie Hall at 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 10 and 17. Tickets for the movies are free. Concessions will be available for sale.   • Fellowship Church Offers “Warming Place”

    Fellowship Church of Sidney is providing their facility to the community as a “warming place” for those with a cold-weather emergency. If anyone in a camper, RV, or less-than-ideal cold weather accommodation suffers a power outage, runs out of propane, or loses heat they can call Fellowship at 433-4004, any time of day (24 hours). Someone will be sent to open the facility for a temporary period of time so they can get warm and get heat restored. These same hunters are also responsible for seeing that the wild game they harvested is properly cared for and processed. The waste of edible game meat is illegal.     In response to a recent environmental assessment, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will recommend that 68 disease-free bison be relocated to two northern Montana Indian reservations. The tribal lands were evaluated in an EA that considered moving about 150 disease-free bison that currently are held in a quarantine facility and on a ranch in southwestern Montana.     On Nov. 27, a collared black male wolf was shot on private ground under the defense of property law near Hammond, MT. Montana laws and administrative rules allow for a person to kill a wolf in the act of attacking, killing or threatening to kill livestock, a provision in place to opportunistically minimize wolf-livestock conflicts when they occur.
