    Richland Economic Development is very pleased to have brought back coal tax dollars which will help Savage Public Schools with badly needed repairs. The school's loss of tax dollars from the Savage Mine has had a devastating effect on their budget and their long-term plans for facility upkeep. The award of $281,000 from the Montana Coal Board will allow them to continue necessary repairs to the building, including windows, insulation to cinder block walls, siding, soffit and some roof repairs....

    Jordan Hall, former pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, Sidney, received a three-year deferred sentence on felony embezzlement charges. He must also pay restitution of over $15,000 to the church.     On Sept. 25 at approximately 10 a.m. CT a 2007 Peterbilt truck driven by a 29-year-old Briot Nehring, Williston, ND, was northbound on 130th Rd. NW just north of the intersection of 48th St. NW. Both of the girls' and boys' teams took home third place and will compete next week at the State A tournament in Polson.
