The Run the World Sidney Run Club will be holding a Partner 4 Pain Run/Walk Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 am at Richland Park. Partner 4 Pain is the third run in a series of three, with each four mile run raising money for a different cause in the community. Jason Dean Swanson was born January 5, 1975 in Calgary, Alberta to DeWayne and Dianne Christie Swanson. The first of three information sessions about the new cottage food program will be held on Friday, October 2nd from noon to 1pm in conference room 101 of the Community Services Building. State and local public health officials are seeing an early start to the influenza season. While the season usually doesn’t begin until October, Montana has had early influenza reports from six counties: Yellowstone, Gallatin, Lewis and Clark, Missoula, Beaverhead and Broadwater Counties. The 43,275 deer gun licenses that were allocated by proclamation for the 2015 hunting season have all been issued, according to Randy Meissner, licensing manager for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department. Meissner said according to state law, the number of deer gun licenses issued, including those licenses issued as gratis, cannot exceed the number of licenses authorized by the governor’s proclamation.
