Strong winds caused damage to RVs and a mobile home at Tobacco Gardens Resort near Watford City last Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Bismarck reported that three RVs sustained significant damage with one that was toppled. There were no injuries reported. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is encouraging producers who have suffered eligible disaster-related losses to act to secure assistance by Sept. 30, 2014, as congressionally mandated payment reductions will take place for producers who have not acted before that date.
