On Wednesday July 29th and Thursday July 30th Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteers went door to door throughout randomly selected areas of Richland County conducting the Richland Community Health Assessment, which is a survey done every three years to determine the public health needs of the community. The Boys & Girls Club of Richland County has partnered with IGA to help with the Backpack Program for the 2015-16 school year. We will be sending home sacks of easily-prepared food items on the last day of each school week to provide nourishment over the weekend for kids who may be depending upon the school lunch program for meals.
