Dave and Cathy Wieferich officially took over the family business in 2002 when Marvin Brookman, Cathy's grandfather and founder of Brookman Rodeo Company, suffered a stroke. Gen passed away peacefully at age 93 on Monday, July 22, 2024. Genevieve Anne Holen was born on January 19, 1931 to her parents, Lawrence and Anne Holen, on the Bolken Farm north of Arnegard, ND. The story goes that at a whopping 5 lbs., she could fit inside a shoebox! Her birth and death took place on the same family farm.
