McKenzie County, ND, honored four citizens this week at the 14th annual Emergency Responder's dinner and golf scramble, hosted by the County Commission, Emergency Manager Karolin Jappe, and Veteran's Services Director Jerry Samuelson. On Tuesday, July 25th there will be a “Toys for Tikes” fundraiser from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Watford City Tourist Park. There will be a free will donation supper served at the event along with live music performed by local musicians. Attendants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy or gift for children from the ages of six months to 17 years old. The Lone Tree Archers Club of Sidney will be hosting their annual 3-D archery shoot on Saturday, July 29, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, July 30, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The shoot will feature 22 3-D animal targets set up on the archery range, which is located about 8 miles southeast of Sidney.
