    The Sidney Health Center Cancer Center recently conducted a tour of the new expansion of the cancer center. One that has roughly costed $10 million that started in 2022 but now has been completed with new treatment rooms, as well as some new technology to help patients with various conditions.     The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that 68-year-old Valentine Ene, AZ, died several days after receiving injuries during an assault on June 1, 2024. Detective Brandon Kindred stated that the incident took place on private property on the North Dakota side of 32nd St. NW, Fairview.     The City of Sidney has received a $1,277,685 FEMA BRIC (Building Resilient Infrastructure & Communities) grant to cover 75% of the cost for the Sidney Meadows Storm Drain Project. The City was also awarded their portion of the required match, $511,074, in State of Montana Resiliency dollars, covering the entire cost of the project other than engineering.
