Once again, the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department is preparing for our annual fundraiser. We will be hosting our 24th Annual Free Will Breakfast at the Fire Hall on Sunday June 1, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. The breakfast will consist of French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. The Richland County run and bike club will be hosting the Sidney Duathlon on Saturday, June 7. The duathlon will consist of a 5k run-10k bike-and an additional 5k run. This Run-Bike-Run will start at 8 am mountain time with registration from 7am to 7:45 on Saturday, June 7th at Meadow Park in Sidney. Producers need to file an ECP application with the FSA before starting work on land damaged by flood water. This workshop is designed for women with previous hiking or backpacking skills, or who are in good physical condition. The North Dakota Game and Fish Department reminds anglers and others taking carp and other nongame fish that a license is required, and hook-and-line, archery equipment and spears are the only legal methods of take.
