First-grade students gained author recognized when their class developed a book through Student Treasures Publishing.     Richland County commissioners approved advertising for a temporary employee to assist in the county attorney’s office during a meeting held May 13. Richland County Attorney Charity McLarty said that position would be beneficial especially with one staff member anticipated to miss time because of a surgery.
