A free-will BBQ feed will be held for Dusty Sletvold on May 10 at the Richland County Fair Event Center. Sletvold, who is a 1994 graduate of Sidney High School, suffered a massive stroke on March 21st. Dusty was life flighted to Denver, where he currently remains. The 1st Lutheran Church will be offering a children’s program this summer. The new program will accept 30 children, from those that have completed Kindergarten up to 5th grade. Lone Tree Archers will be having a 3-D fun shoot and BBQ on Saturday, May 11, at the archery range located 8 miles S.E. of Sidney. Six Shooter Movie Theater in Watford City recently switched to a digital projection system. With most movies being produced in digital, regular film movies are not being produced as much so they had to switch in order to continue providing movies. During that time an oil boom was going on in area and the community leaders were concerned for their citizen’s safety. After the oil boom died down, so did the Crimestoppers efforts.
