    Richland County track athletes enjoyed success during the Sidney Invitational, which featured more than 600 students, on Saturday. Sidney's boys placed fourth in the team standings with 42 points while Sidney's girls tied for seventh place with 23 points. Williston won both the boys' and girls' titles.     The Sidney Eagles baseball team defeated the Williston JV-1 team with a score of 13-1 on April 16, in Williston. The Eagles scored two in the second inning after a Williston error scored one run and Kayson Radke grounded out, scoring one run. They added two more runs in the third after Gradin Sukut and Kason Radke got RBIs due to errors. There were eight hits and five runs in the sixth inning.     Sidney's softball squad put up a good fight, but the Eagles lost at home against conference foe Glendive, 14-6, on April 16. The pitching of junior Amiya Steinbeisser kept Sidney close as the Eagles trailed by only a 3-0 margin after three innings of play.     After the Northwest Judicial District issued a warrant on April 15 for his arrest, Hugo Hernandez surrendered to authorities in Gillette, Wy., on April 18, in relation to the investigation of the 2023 shooting death of Brianne Anderson in Watford City. Hernandez was surrendered without incident. Hernandez was charged with negligent homicide, a Class B felony, and the discharge of a firearm within city limits, which is a Class B misdemeanor.
