The McKenzie County Ambulance Service employs 8 licensed paramedics, and has a volunteer staff of 18 Emergency Medical Technicians and 10 drivers that provide emergency health care and advanced life support for the people of Watford City and some of the surrounding area. In mid-December 2017, preparing meals in the kitchen at the People's Congregational Church UCC in Sidney, Montana became a lot more enjoyable. On March 22, 2018 at about 0554, the Richland County Sheriffs Office received a report of a stolen 1992 Blue Chevrolet K2500 pickup from a resident southwest of Sidney.
