    In 1984, a young lady embarked on a journey to bring gymnastics to the tiny town of Watford City ND. The club started as a parent run organization and was called the twisters back then.   • DECA Class Celebrates 12 Days of Christmas

    This is the first year that the Watford City High School DECA class put on such an event. The McKenzie County Library in Watford City held this event for the DECA students and the community members that attended every day. It was held when DECA replaced the former school group of FBLA.   • Camp Christmas Class Held Dec. 15

    The first Camp Christmas program was the Home School Students art program. The students referred to the program leader as Mrs. Mary. The second Camp Christmas program was held for the students who attend the McKenzie County School District. The art teacher, her daughter, Rachel and son, Joe also participated and helped their mother with the week long area program that was held through the Long X Art Foundation.
