Fort Union Trading Post will celebrate America’s birthday with a series of programs on Thursday, July 4. Fort Union Park Ranger Richard Stenberg will lead a hike to the Bodmer Overlook, where Swiss artist Karl Bodmer sketched his famous image of the Assiniboine at Fort Union Trading Post during the summer of 1833.
