The Sunrise Women’s Clinic will be holding their second annual Walk for Life and first ever Conquer the Course on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Men, women,and kids will all be able to walk or run a 1K or 5K in support of the Sunrise Women’s Clinic. As a new addition to the fun, this year they will have an optional course. July 10-16 young women and girls from across the state of Montana gathered at the Dawson County High School auditorium in Glendive. It was the 2022 Miss Montana Volunteer Program. Among the many contestants, three Sidney residents came out on top. Liliana Johnson, who graduated from Sidney High School and now attends MSU, Bozeman, won Miss Montana Volunteer. The south-facing wall of the building that houses Big Sky Cookie Co., Centre Theatre, Restorx, The Rug Doctor, and Thee Boutique now sports a freshly painted face.
