    The MonDak Heritage Center welcomed two new employees to their staff on Tuesday, Oct. 11. Nikki Bailey is the new executive director. The position had been vacant for a considerable amount of time. She is a Montana native and grew up in Fort Benton, near Great Falls. She got a Masters degree from Montana State University-Bozeman in agriculture education with a focus on relations. K9s Copper and Daisy Mae are two purebred bloodhounds that were purchased, and are being trained by two different members of BSAR to be used for scent and man trailing.     Fall of 2022 Sidney Circle Subdivision was finally given some long-needed improvements. The Sidney Subdivision was started in 1978.     On Nov. 4, Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. filed an application with the Montana Public Service Commission for Authority to Establish Increased Rates for Electric Service. In it, MDU proposes a total increase of $10,499,415. This will affect the rates of about 25,600 customers and bring their rates up 19.2%. MDU also is asking for an interim rate relief of $1,716,219.
