Friends of Randy Davis have organized a benefit as he continues his recovery process from cancer. Davis was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, cancer of the tongue, in February 2023. He has undergone chemotherapy and radiation and doctors are confident that the cancer is under control. However, he still has therapy to navigate as he continues to heal. The benefit on Friday, Nov. 3 at the VFW in Sidney features a silent auction from 4-7 p.m., a free will meal featuring pulled beef, slushburgers, pulled pork, and salads beginning at 5 p.m....
Brynn Spinner, Three Buttes 4-H Club, recently donated her back-up hog to the Lambert school lunch program. She said that Scotty Huft, Badland’s Water Works, was so generous when he purchased her hog at the Richland County Fair that she did not need the money so she decided to donate the extra animal. Spinner is 13 years old and has been a 4-H member for two years, with hogs and horses as her projects. Her favorite parts are going to the fair, hanging out with friends, and raising hogs. Robin was the force behind the store from its beginnings in 1993 until her passing from cancer in 2000.
