It’s amazing what can happen when two talented photographers collaborate. The new Fairview Chamber of Commerce logo was inspired by photos taken by Jeremy Krieger and Judd Burman, and features important landmarks such as the Fairview Bridge, the old water tower, the U.S. flag owned by Vietnam veteran Terry C. The Richland County Food Bank is quickly settling in to its new home at 517 E. Main, Sidney. In just one and a half days on Sept. 19 & 20, food bank staff, with massive help from the City of Sidney, LDS elders, Boy Scout Troop 141, and employees of EOG transferred freezers, shelving and food items. During the blizzard April 13, 11 year old Brycen Fox was watching out of his window across the street from Sharbono Park in Fairview as the U.S. flag was ripped off its pole by the wind. Having been taught by his dad Tucker to respect the flag, he immediately headed out, struggling through waist high snowdrifts, to rescue it.
