The Richland County Patriots opened the tournament with a 21-4 victory vs. Fisher Construction. The second game, Richland defeated Jock Stop 10-7 in extra innings (9) in a hard fought game. The “Trashy Tuesday” drive will be held this coming Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Richland Opportunities, Inc. located at 1100 Silurian Lane in Sidney. This is the 4th year of quarterly plastic, paper, cardboard and aluminum can drives. The drives are being sponsored by the Recycling Advisory Committee. The committee consists of area citizens who would like to ensure that the community has an opportunity to recycle material that cannot be recycled using the current resources.
