The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s North Dakota State Emergency Board reviewed and approved damage assessment reports for 16 North Dakota counties recently. The reports will now be sent on to Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to support a potential disaster designation for those counties. North Dakota USDA Farm Service Agency State Executive Director Aaron Krauter today announced that producers can enroll in the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments (SURE) program for 2011 crop year losses beginning Oct. 22, 2012.
