    The 2021-2022 Speech, Drama and Debate season is officially underway, with the first meet this past weekend held in Billings. There were 29 schools from across the state from class AA, A , B & C, with over 300 competitors. The Sidney team travelled with eight students. The Drama Team had great individual results.     Sidney High School hosted the first ever Virtual State Speech, Drama and Debate Tournament! Usually the tournament is only two days however with WIFI restrictions it was a three-day meet. Twenty Class A schools from across the state competed via computer. Judges from across the state via the internet judged the competitors. There were over 200 competitors from across the state with 18 class A schools and over 150 judges all working virtually with only a few minor bumps.     Sidney Home Meet took place over Friday and Saturday, Jan. 3 and 4. The Drama Team dominated with 121 points (closest team had 52) bringing home the 1st place trophy.
