The Alexander High School Student Council held a fall donation drive for a few of the local area animal rescues and delivered the donations just in time for Christmas. Student Council members, Brooke Rykhus, Tylan Womelsdorf, and Advisor Amber Severson were the lucky ones to visit the rescues and cuddle some of the rescued animals. On March 23, 2024, students from Alexander High School, Legacy High School, and Sheyenne High School participated in the State Bar Association of North Dakota's (SBAND) Virtual High School Mock Trial Competition. Judge volunteers as Presiding Judges were: Trent Barkus, Ryan Hestbeck and Nicholas Nelson. Justices of the North Dakota Supreme Court will visit Alexander High School March 22 as part of its Taking the Courts to School program. While at the school, justices will visit classrooms, eat lunch with students, hold oral arguments, and have a question and answer session after the argument about the process of the case.
